About the Role

This senior position drives brand positioning and equity, owning the marketing calendar and shaping brand activation across channels. You will connect brand performance, consumer insight, and market trends to achieve commercial results.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the consumer champion, using brand tracking, CRM, community, and market insight to shape marketing objectives and strategy.
  • Own the marketing calendar framework for cultural moments, product launches, and channel opportunities.
  • Manage brand tracking and reporting, analyzing awareness and equity against competitors.
  • Lead insight generation through community research to refine the marketing calendar and activation strategies.
  • Drive key campaign moments, setting direction and collaborating with teams for impactful activation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and cultural shifts to provide timely recommendations.
  • Analyze campaign performance for continuous optimization of commercial and brand equity results.
  • Support marketing budget allocation to align investment with key calendar opportunities.
  • Build and maintain the marketing dashboard for leadership visibility on performance and learnings.
  • Understand product architecture from a consumer perspective and partner with Innovation on growth opportunities.
  • Champion the science board to build consumer trust and awareness of product efficacy.
  • Support the CMO in enhancing insight-led strategic thinking and metric-driven planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in brand management or marketing strategy, ideally within a fast-paced direct-to-consumer brand.
  • Experience owning a marketing calendar.
  • Proven ability to translate insight into actionable strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and audience personas in DTC.
  • Experience running or coordinating cross-functional planning.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and defending recommendations with evidence.
  • Ability to connect consumer insight, competitor movement, cultural moments, and commercial priorities.
  • Ability to make confident decisions without perfect data, using experience and instinct.
  • Willingness to take ownership in a high-impact role.
  • Ability to align stakeholders around a vision and direction.
  • Ability to see projects through from concept to completion.
