About the Role
The DHZB Akademie is seeking a student assistant or part-time employee for event management to support workshops and training sessions. This role involves assisting with event preparation, participant and speaker support, and catering management in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up rooms for events and workshops during weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
- Register and support participants of workshops and events, partly in English.
- Support speakers on-site with setup for PCs, smartboards, and hybrid meetings.
- Prepare, conduct, and follow up on coffee breaks and lunch, ensuring a pleasant experience for attendees and speakers.
Requirements
- Enrolled student seeking 8-10 hours/week as a working student or part-time employee.
- Ability to work independently, reliably, and responsibly with a customer-oriented approach.
- Solution-oriented with a constructive approach to technical and logistical challenges.
- Team player with an open and constructive working style.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable speaking with various stakeholders in German and English.
- Basic knowledge of PC and presentation techniques.
- Willingness to learn quickly and bring motivation.
