About the Role
As the lead SRE Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering tools and processes to enhance quality, scalability, and resiliency for the Trade Entitlements system, ensuring it meets the bank's goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver a first-class SRE ecosystem.
- Champion SRE principles including SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs, and their monitoring and reporting.
- Contribute to the system’s codebase (Java) to facilitate SRE requirements.
Requirements
- Extensive and solid experience as a Java engineer with high throughput web-based systems (Spring preferred).
- Expert knowledge of SRE stack including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously, steer difficult decisions with technology stakeholders, and deliver projects to a high degree of quality and longevity.
- Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, sprint delivery, and continuous improvement of trading capabilities.
- Experience of Kotlin preferred.
