About the Role

Join Cushman & Wakefield as a Plumber supporting one of Australia’s leading private hospital networks. This role offers stability, variety, and meaningful work in a purpose-driven environment where your work directly supports patient care, clinical safety, and essential hospital operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic systems including hot/cold water, drainage, and sanitary services.
  • Operate and maintain medical gas, steam, and water treatment systems.
  • Conduct backflow prevention testing and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor Legionella risks and water quality parameters.
  • Respond to urgent plumbing issues impacting clinical operations.
  • Support asset lifecycle replacement and minor works programs.
  • Liaise with hospital staff to minimize disruption during works.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 plumbing and gas fitting services.

Requirements

  • Qualified Plumber with relevant trade license.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing maintenance roles.
  • Experience in complex facilities, hospital or clinical environments is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, compliance testing, and essential services.
  • Ability to work safely in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Possess a White Card.
  • Ability to obtain relevant clearances.
  • Experience using mobile work order systems (CMMS).

  • TMV/tempering valve experience
  • EWP / High Risk Boom
  • Gas fitting experience
  • Water treatment, filtration, and pump maintenance
  • Leak detection, hydro jetting, and drainage diagnostics
