About the Role

Yuno is seeking a highly technical, execution-focused Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the Client Intelligence & Data domain. This role is crucial for transforming data into valuable client reporting and insights, defining foundational building blocks to scale analytics and reporting across Yuno's domains. The TPM will act as a "Maker-to-Governor," defining product strategy, shaping technical direction, and ensuring reliable production operations within an autonomous, cross-functional pod.

Responsibilities

  • Own single-threaded leadership (STL) for Client Intelligence & Data.
  • Translate high-level business goals into precise, versioned APIs and event-driven architectures.
  • Define platform features to automate client onboarding and create an AI-driven insights engine.
  • Enforce a "Stop the Line" mentality for quality and maintain a Stability Floor for automated QA.
  • Lead a high-ownership pod of engineers, partnering with Staff Engineers and the CTO Office.
  • Evangelize and operationalize the "You Build It, You Run It" (YBIYRI) mindset.
  • Design for multi-tenancy, elastic scaling, and automated observability.
  • Own microservices in production via a "follow-the-sun" model.
  • Use the RICE framework to prioritize requirements and build an executable roadmap.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven platforms.
  • Proficiency in modern software engineering practices (Cloud-native/Serverless, Kotlin/Go, gRPC/REST).
  • Ability to lead architectural discussions on "paved road" infrastructure for analytics and reporting systems.
  • Proven experience building foundational platform capabilities or complex distributed systems, ideally involving analytics pipelines, BI tooling, or merchant-facing dashboards.
  • Track record of driving delivery velocity, unblocking engineering teams, managing dependencies, and optimizing DORA metrics.
  • Preference for clean, modular architecture over monolithic shortcuts.
  • Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate growth goals into technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of data pipelines, KPI/metrics design, dashboarding tools, and merchant or operator reporting needs.
