About the Role

Squadron Energy is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to support Commercial Managers in overseeing contracts for the Uungula Wind Farm project. This role involves managing contract variations, claims, and ensuring accurate recording and reporting of contract management activities to project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and manage contract risk for assigned contracts.
  • Manage monthly progress claims, including verifying work progress and payment claim accuracy.
  • Manage contractor variations, including preparing proposals, assessing quotations, negotiating, and preparing variation orders.
  • Manage contractor correspondence and deliverables according to contract terms and conditions.
  • Liaise with legal teams to ensure compliance where necessary.
  • Support Commercial Managers/Contract Managers with general contract administration duties.
  • Prepare formal correspondence and general notices.
  • Manage insurance renewals.
  • Attend contractor meetings.
  • Maintain registers for open and outstanding items (Variations, Correspondence, etc.).
  • Review contractor correspondences to identify potential changes, claims, and delays.
  • Liaise with the project team to determine activity status and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Collate, review, submit, and store documentation for reporting and claims.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across business units.
  • Highly safety-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders on different levels.
  • Self-motivated and action-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize activities according to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
  • High-level organization skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • White Card.
