About the Role
Provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity. Assist with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship, ensuring clients feel safe, respected, and valued.
Responsibilities
- Domestic Assistance – Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Meal Preparation – Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
- Personal Care Support – Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
- Social Engagement – Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
- Transport Services – Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.
Requirements
- Kind-hearted, patient, and respectful person passionate about enhancing the lives of older people.
- Share organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence.
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations.
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended).
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy.
