About the Role
Mollie Stone's Markets, a gourmet Bay Area grocery chain, is seeking a versatile Deli Clerk/All Purpose Clerk (APC) for its Tower location. This customer service-driven role involves assisting customers, preparing food items, stocking, and maintaining equipment, with potential assignments across various departments based on store needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the deli counter, including making sandwiches and slicing meat.
- Properly cut, wrap, and scale deli items.
- Stock and display deli products.
- Operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in maintaining all equipment in safe working condition.
- Follow procedures and guidelines.
- Handle food in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to reach for up to 4 hours per day.
