Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for laboratory products, focusing on cell culture products.
  • Offer expert technical assistance to researcher and engineer customers, from product selection to usage and troubleshooting.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and support sales target achievement through collaboration with other internal departments.
  • Respond to technical inquiries (phone/email) regarding cell culture-related products, molecular biology-related products, and small instruments, including plastic consumables, glassware, and reagents.
  • Provide technical consultation based on experimental data and research papers.
  • Perform troubleshooting and propose improvements.
  • Provide technical explanations and advice on product specifications, usage, and experimental conditions (including accompanying sales representatives on customer visits).
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and quality.
  • Conduct technical training for internal staff, including sales representatives.
  • Create technical materials and posters for academic conferences and seminars.
  • Present at academic conferences and exhibitions, and gather information.
  • Collect and share information on trends in the Japanese life science market internally.
  • Introduce and train distributors on products.

Requirements

  • 5 years of research experience using cell culture techniques.
  • 5 years of professional work experience.
