About the Role
Shape the future Defence workforce by connecting exceptional talent with meaningful careers. Lead proactive sourcing for specialist and niche Defence and Maritime roles.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across specialist Defence, Maritime and technical positions
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates using sourcing tools, market mapping and targeted search strategies
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche and specialist roles
- Develop sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, providing recruitment advice and market insights
- Create engaging job advertisements and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Defence Talent Acquisition team
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing passive candidates for niche specialist positions
- Experience recruiting within Defence or Maritime industry will be highly regarded
- Proven success using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing techniques to identify and engage talent
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an internal Talent Acquisition or agency environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
- Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
- Must pass a comprehensive probity assessment, including a National Police Check
