About the Role
Vega is seeking an Academic Dean to lead high school programs, focusing on community engagement, program development, and adherence to educational standards. This role is crucial for fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assure community participation in school district programs.
- Develop and administer educational and training programs for students and adults.
- Organize and maintain procedures for record-keeping.
- Prepare and administer institution or program budgets.
- Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of school board administration experience.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and tight deadlines.
- Employees are expected to reside in Ontario and within a reasonable commuting distance of the office/campus.
