About the Role

Floor Staff team members are responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service, acting as representatives of Regal and upholding its mission and policies. Roles may include Box Office, Concession Stand, or Usher.

Responsibilities

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Handling of emergency situations
  • General cleaning duties
  • Compliance with company dress code
  • Operating POS system, including cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons
  • Up selling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX)
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy
  • Responding to phone calls and guest questions
  • Operating POS system, including cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed coupons
  • Managing concession stock inventory
  • Operating, preparing, and cleaning concession equipment
  • Complying with all local, state, and federal food safety laws
  • Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
  • Tearing tickets, collecting stubs, and directing patrons to auditoriums
  • Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
  • Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats
  • Enforcement of MPAA rating system
  • Conducting in-theatre inspections for quality and safety
  • Reporting problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management
  • Performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales
  • Cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas
  • Monitoring cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
  • Completion of any legally required state or local alcohol training and certification
  • Completion of Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Ability to listen effectively and respond clearly and directly
  • Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to identify and correct errors
  • Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes
  • Ability to evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence
