About the Role

The Senior Manager, Logistics Operations ANZ is a new role accountable for the end-to-end performance, strategy, and continuous improvement of logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand. The role will ensure safe, compliant, cost-effective, and customer-focused distribution operations, leveraging internal capabilities and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to deliver best-in-class service aligned with business growth, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end warehousing and distribution across Australia & New Zealand, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective, and customer-focused product flow (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory).
  • Own and optimise 3PL partnerships: manage contracts, governance, SLAs, and partner performance to deliver reliable service and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute the regional warehousing and distribution strategy aligned with global supply chain priorities, driving network design, systems, and transformation initiatives.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in productivity, accuracy, lead times, and cost through process optimisation, automation, and strong stakeholder partnerships.
  • Drive financial and performance accountability: set and manage budgets, control costs, forecast, and report KPIs across safety, quality, service, cost, and inventory.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and business continuity across internal and external operations.
  • Build and lead high-performing operational teams: coach leaders, develop capability and succession pipelines, and act as the primary ANZ escalation point for warehousing and distribution issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/supply chain or related field
  • Strong end-to-end knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations in a regulated environment.
  • Proven experience managing 3PL providers and complex supplier networks.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including cost management and contract governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational change and continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions and senior leadership.
