About the Role
The Living Room Bar Supervisor manages team and shift operations within the Lobby Lounge, aiming to maximize talent and guest satisfaction, revenues, and profitability. This role involves creating authentic guest experiences, managing reservations, maintaining hotel standards, training staff, and supporting the manager.
Responsibilities
- Managing the team and assigned shift operations within the Lobby Lounge
- Creating authentic guest experiences
- Managing the B&F reservations
- Maintaining hotel standards
- Training the talent
- Managing rosters and timesheets
- Supporting the manager with any other tasks assigned
- Daily supervision of the Living Room Bar and the team
- Maintain sanitation standards
- Assist talent and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods
- Strive to continually improve guest and talent satisfaction
- Determine training needed to accomplish goals, then implement plan
- Communicate effectively between Culinary and Front of House to ensure smooth and seamless service
- Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures
- Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws
- Strives to improve service performance and sets a positive example for guest relations
- Assists Talent on the floor during meal periods and high demand times
- Complete opening and closing duties including set up and cleaning of equipment
- Monitors employees to ensure performance expectations are met
- Provides feedback to Talent based on observation of service behaviors
- Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
