About the Role
As a leader in our CUBE Store in Berlin, you will take ownership and manage the store as your own business. You will lead a team across sales, workshop, and logistics, oversee daily operations, and develop the branch in collaboration with sales management.
Responsibilities
- Operative and strategic management of the branch with responsibility for sales, profit, and quality targets.
- Personnel management, scheduling, and development of a team of approximately 20 employees from sales, workshop, and logistics.
- Planning and implementation of sales strategies in close coordination with branch and sales management.
- Assortment responsibility and merchandise management: selection and maintenance of a target group-oriented product assortment, participation in purchasing decisions and trade fair visits.
- Ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to all company standards in customer service, sales processes, and team collaboration.
- Active presence on the sales floor: supporting the team in daily sales activities and personal customer consultation.
- Efficient warehouse and inventory management: ensuring product availability, conducting inventories, optimizing ordering processes.
- Participation in local marketing activities, POS design, and merchandising concepts.
- Regular coaching and targeted training to ensure excellent customer service.
- Transparent communication with management regarding developments, challenges, and potentials.
Requirements
- Commercial apprenticeship, business administration degree, or several years of professional experience in retail, ideally in the bicycle industry.
- Sound leadership experience in retail or sales, e.g., as branch manager or deputy manager.
- Passion for bicycles and e-bikes, especially for the CUBE brand.
- Proficient in handling business KPIs and the ability to derive concrete measures from them.
- Structured, resilient, and flexible working style – maintaining an overview even during peak sales periods.
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor towards customers and employees.
- Organizational talent, initiative, and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Trainer license (AEVO) is an advantage or willingness to obtain one.
- The position is also suitable for those who have worked as Store Manager, Shop Manager, or Sales Manager in specialized retail.
