About the Role

Present exciting science shows and parties for children aged 4-12. This part-time role offers a fun environment with opportunities for stage experience. We provide training and equipment, and handle all bookings and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Present science shows and parties to audiences of 15-250 children.
• Visit schools, libraries, camps, and other venues.
• Deliver engaging science presentations.
• Perform at birthday parties for groups of 15-25 children.

Requirements

• Outgoing and dynamic personality.
• Enjoy performing in front of an audience.
• Experience with children ages 4-12.
• Reliable transportation (not public or ride share).
• Possess a cell phone.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of basic science.
• High energy levels.
• Must be fingerprinted for criminal background check and TB tested.
• Responsible, reliable, adaptable, professional, and flexible.
• Ability to conduct programs safely and efficiently.
• Punctual and prepared.
• Able to adjust to different environments and group types.
• Comfortable interacting with parents and principals.
