  • Translate complex authorization requirements into clear, defensible product strategies.
  • Author vision documents, opportunity assessments, and product briefs for executive stakeholders.
  • Break large, complex initiatives into shippable, incremental phases.
  • Lead discovery with enterprise customers, security buyers, and developers to identify unmet needs.
  • Partner with engineering, security, and design to build scalable, secure, and developer-friendly solutions.
  • Anticipate technical risks related to performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across IAM, core platform, and product teams.
  • Define KPIs and track initiative-level customer and business outcomes.
  • Coordinate go-to-market efforts with Sales, Support, and Enablement teams.
  • Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate discovery, research, and specification writing.
  • Define authorization policies and permission frameworks for AI agents.
  • Mentor and provide oversight to junior product managers.

Requirements

  • Meaningful depth in Identity and Access Management, specifically authorization systems (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, policy engines).
  • Proven track record of owning strategically important and highly ambiguous product areas.
  • Ability to operate with minimal direction and a strong bias for action.
  • Experience as a systems thinker capable of identifying downstream risks and edge cases.
  • Strong ability to synthesize data from customer discovery, competitive intelligence, and analytics.
  • World-class written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical foundation in API design, policy evaluation, and token structures.
