About the Role

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a Project Technical Coordinator to support various projects in Toronto. This role involves coordinating multi-site production, harmonizing deliverables, and facilitating interfaces with project management, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring technical progress, schedule, cost compliance, and deliverable quality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor multi-site technical production across SYSTRA’s engineering centres.
  • Participate in follow-up and coordination meetings with project management and the client.
  • Organize and streamline information flow to production teams.
  • Propose, implement, and animate coordination tools to foster collaboration within SYSTRA.
  • Supervise and harmonize technical deliverables across all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate related activities with stakeholders (SYSTRA internal teams, subcontractors).
  • Ensure compliance with and control of commitments (scope, schedule, costs).
  • Develop, update, and distribute procedures and production templates related to activities.
  • Ensure effective communication of information to production teams.
  • Monitor the production of technical deliverables and support coordination of teams in addressing client comments.
  • Ensure technical deliverables comply with contractual requirements and applicable standards.
  • Monitor interfaces and overall coherence of the production.
  • Organize and lead technical production progress meetings.
  • Participate in follow-up and coordination meetings with the Manager and produce minutes.
  • Provide regular progress reporting on the production of technical deliverables.

Requirements

  • Member of PEO or eligible for membership.
  • Experience in configuration management and technical documentation (traceability, version control, writing standards).
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear communication, active listening, and team collaboration.
  • Rigour, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proactivity, autonomy within guidance, and results orientation.
  • Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset.

Experience Level

  • 5 to 10 years in a similar role in technical project coordination
  • Experience in rail, tramway, metro, or infrastructure projects is an asset

Education Level

  • Degree in computer, electrical, systems engineering, or a related field.

Salary/Compensations

  • CAD 80,000 - 110,000 annually
