About the Role
The Associate HRBP partners with business leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Leveraging data, business insights, and HR expertise, this role supports employee relations, labor relations, talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance. Working under the guidance of an HRBP or Sr. HRBP, the Associate HRBP serves as a liaison between HR, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and the business to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR teams to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance across HR programs and policies.
- Communicate HR updates, changes, and business needs to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Promote and support the company’s safety culture.
- Assist leaders in executing HR strategies and addressing day-to-day people matters.
- Use data and insights to support decision-making and recommend solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with managers, employees, and key stakeholders.
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including requisition approvals, candidate selection, and hiring processes.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build talent pipelines and workforce capabilities.
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement surveys, and exit interview processes.
- Support positive labor relations and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Assist with investigations, grievance management, supervisor training, and contract negotiation preparation.
- Support annual and off-cycle compensation processes, including merit and incentive programs.
- Assist with compensation audits and pay-related initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for employee benefits inquiries and enrollment activities.
- Support employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination processes.
- Assist with EthicsPoint investigations, documentation, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and company standards.
- Support organizational design, change management, and HR initiatives.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and measure program effectiveness.
- Assist with presentations, stakeholder meetings, and special projects.
- Manage travel and expenses responsibly and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of progressive HR related experience.
- 1 - 3 years of HRBP experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HRBP core competencies.
- Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
