About the Role

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Solution Architect / Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for global clients. This role requires deep expertise in warehouse operations, logistics execution, and supply chain transformation, with a focus on SAP EWM. As a trusted advisor and solution leader, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable warehouse management solutions aligned to SAP S/4HANA, Transportation Management (TM), and broader Demand-to-Supply (DTS) business processes. You will play a key role in driving digital supply chain transformation initiatives while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and global template standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, configuration, and deployment of SAP EWM solutions across complex global programs.
  • Configure and maintain SAP EWM and related warehouse management functionalities, including solution documentation and governance.
  • Analyze current-state warehouse management processes and develop future-state solutions aligned with SAP best practices, global templates, and business objectives.
  • Lead solution design workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders and project teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance on warehouse, distribution, transportation, and inventory management processes.
  • Define end-to-end process designs, gap assessments, testing strategies, cutover planning, and deployment activities.
  • Support integration between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA, SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP MM, SD, and PP modules and Third-party warehouse automation and control systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support custom development, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.
  • Deliver executive-level communications regarding project scope, quality, risks, costs, and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor functional consultants and provide leadership throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support production operations, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex solution design decisions and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support business users through testing, training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities.
  • Participate in Pre-sales and GTM (Go-to-Market) functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of SAP experience with significant hands-on expertise in SAP EWM implementations and support engagements.
  • Proven experience serving as a Pre-Sales/GTM, Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Functional Lead on large-scale SAP transformation programs.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP EWM functionality.
  • Strong understanding of Demand-to-Supply (DTS) processes and SAP global template methodologies.
  • Experience across warehouse, distribution, transportation, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of Material Master, Inventory Management, and related master data processes.
  • Strong business process analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading global teams and managing client-facing engagements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary/Compensations

  • $123,750- $326,250
