About the Role
As a Technical Account Executive at Cadence, you will leverage your deep technical expertise, sales acumen, and understanding of customer challenges to maximize the value of Cadence solutions. You will lead and close technical campaigns, introducing new technologies and methodologies to help project teams exceed their goals. Success hinges on your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customer engineers, leadership, application engineers, corporate resources, sales executives, and partners, uniting them towards excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and close technical campaigns that introduce new technologies and methodologies.
- Drive cross-functional teams to manage projects internally and manage campaigns externally with customers.
- Converse with and influence upper-level management in technology and business discussions to drive multi-million-dollar, complex sales campaigns.
- Lead Cadence technical teams to connect solutions to customer needs.
- Interact with engineering and financial staff at all levels.
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge and understanding of the digital design flow from RTL to GDSII, including high-level synthesis, RTL synthesis, static timing analysis, power analysis/optimization, equivalence checking, DFT, digital implementation, place and route, electrical signoff, and physical signoff.
- Proven track record demonstrating ability to identify and understand customer’s technical and business challenges.
- Knowledge of AI/ML digital design and optimization methods and associated EDA technology awareness.
- Understanding of the capability and competitive value provided by Cadence digital design and implementation tools, flows, and solutions.
- Understanding of digital requirements, ecosystems, and certification/assurance requirements in aerospace/defense, automotive, industrial, and medical markets.
- Understanding of mixed-signal IC design and package design.
- Knowledge of the complete sales process and services SOW process.
- Results driven with a proven track record of successfully managing conflicting priorities and meeting goals.

Salary/Compensations
- The annual salary range for California is $192,000 to $288,000.
- Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
- Compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
