About the Role

The Data & Operations Integration Lead will own the end-to-end data readiness, cleanup, and migration process as firms move from legacy systems into enterprise platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, data, and operations in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data discovery, mapping, cleanup, and migration activities for acquired RIAs transitioning into the corporate RIA.
  • Own end-to-end data readiness planning to ensure legacy data is in a clean, consistent, and migration-ready state prior to system conversions.
  • Execute and oversee data migrations across key advisor platforms, including CRM, Investor/Client Portals, Performance Reporting, and Trading and Portfolio Management systems.
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity before and after migrations.
  • Serve as the primary technology and data integration partner for newly acquired firms.
  • Assess existing RIA technology stacks data structures to identify risks, gaps, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate migration timelines and dependencies across internal teams and external technology providers.
  • Ensure smooth advisor and staff experience throughout the transition process.
  • Help develop and refine repeatable, scalable data migration and integration processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality standards and ongoing data governance practices.
  • Partner with platform, compliance, and operations teams to ensure migrations align with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Support adoption of standardized systems and best practices following migration.
  • Partner with Platform, Technology, and Shared Services teams to help design and implement standardized operational and data processes as new enterprise technology is introduced into the common tech stack.
  • Support the definition of data standards, workflows, and integration requirements for new systems prior to rollout.
  • Ensure new enterprise tools are implemented in a way that supports scalability, data integrity, and repeatable onboarding for future acquisitions.
  • Document data flows, integration dependencies, and operational processes to support consistency and knowledge transfer.
  • Act as a bridge between product, technology, and operations to ensure data readiness and adoption are addressed early in the implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience in wealth management, fintech, financial services operations, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • CDMP (DAMA), ASQ Data Quality Credential, CIMP – Data Quality preferred.
  • Direct experience with advisor technology platforms such as Salesforce, Redtail, Orion, Black Diamond, Addepar, Tamarac, or similar systems strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting data migrations, platform integrations, or system conversions.
  • Familiarity with RIA regulatory considerations (SEC) and data security best practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platform implementations or major system transformations within a wealth management or financial services environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with integration concepts such as APIs, data mapping, ETL processes and tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, Fivetran), or vendor-led conversions a plus (hands-on technical development not required).
  • Familiarity with data cleansing and quality tools (integrate.io, DemandTools, TIBCO Clarity), Analysis and QA platforms (Alteryx, Mammoth Analytics), Streaming/CDC systems (Kafka, Debezium).
  • Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra.
  • Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
