About the Role

As a Banking Consultant in Retail Banking, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience by meeting their end-to-end financial needs and goals. This involves transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating customers on available financial solutions, including digital options. The role is primarily branch-based, focusing on delivering high standards of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and advocacy. You will be part of a collaborative team, acting as a role model and peer coach to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions.
Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.
Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Requirements

Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
Experience in being a user and promoter of technology; working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage.
Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
Sound understanding of compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
