About the Role

The Inventory Associate is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations within the retail storefront, ensuring accuracy in counts and shipments, and verifying product receipts. The role involves organizing products, ensuring compliance with California's Track and Trace system (METRC) and the Point of Sale (POS) system, and verifying product labeling and regulatory requirements before sales floor transition.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for barcoding all new inventory in Point-of-Sale system.
  • Audits the physical inventory to ensure alignment with virtual inventory numbers.
  • Performs daily/weekly cycle counts and inventory evaluation and verification procedures.
  • Provides timely notice to management of discrepancies for investigation.
  • Researches inventory variances and adjustments.
  • Maintains an accurate account of non-stock and unavailable inventory.
  • Implements and follows cannabis waste procedures and schedules.
  • Creates a calendar of all upcoming expired products.
  • Assists with budtending as directed by manager.
  • Provides excellent customer experience.
  • Accurately logs customer information in computer systems.
  • Accurately records customer transactions in POS system.
  • Ensures all phases of the customer experience remain seamless and exceed expectations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Will require working varied hours/day, including nights weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasion.
  • Occasionally overnight shifts between the hours of 9pm-5a.
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
