About the Role

As the Billing Fulfillment Administrator, you will be responsible for providing efficient and responsive service to billing inquiries and premium collection from various stakeholders. You will be collecting and administering premium payments, maintaining and reconciling account records, and providing billing knowledge to business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Providing courteous and professional service to manage all incoming phone calls and email inquiries.
  • Processing premium payment transactions, Non-sufficient funds (NSF) letters and premium returns, and all other billing-related transactions.
  • Corresponding with stakeholders regarding billing and premium transactions.
  • Corresponding with internal departments to obtain information needed to process and respond to inquiries.
  • Providing term insurance renewal quotes to policyholders.
  • Creating various policyholder letters and miscellaneous correspondence as required.
  • Analyzing various billing reports, recommending solutions and resolving any errors.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in Individual Life Insurance or related experience in accounting, finance, payroll or banking.
  • Completed a post-secondary certificate in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required.
  • Detail oriented work requiring a moderate degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a contact centre environment requiring a high level of audio and visual concentration for extended periods of time.
  • Subject to a Background check as a condition of employment.
