About the Role

We are a consumer protection law firm seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our New York practice. This role offers broad responsibilities and exposure to various consumer protection legal issues, including transactional and civil litigation. You will have the opportunity to develop your career alongside talented professionals who share a passion for professionalism and growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload for the Firm’s clients in New York.
• Communicate with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and review/draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.
• Travel for in-court appearances as required.

Requirements

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Must possess superior organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work easily with senior management and employees at all levels throughout the organization.
• Strong legal research skills.
