About the Role
Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Gas Linear Transmission Pipeline to lead and support design, permitting, and client management/development efforts for oil and gas projects. This role offers the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with top industry leadership on diverse, premier projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pipeline alignment sheets, plan-and-profile drawings, and more.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and transient surge evaluations for pipeline systems.
- Evaluate, recommend, and specify piping materials, valves, fittings, and specialized equipment.
- Engineer pipeline facilities and appurtenances, including pig launchers, pig receivers, valve stations, and pressure relief equipment.
- Develop technical specifications and construction documentation for pipeline installation, welding, trenching, and restoration.
- Verify that design deliverables meet applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project-specific criteria.
- Collaborate with survey, geotechnical, environmental, and land services teams on multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of successful, local, and related pipeline engineering project experience.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Strong client development and client management abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
- Active participation in professional organizations.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
