About the Role

As a Structural Design Coordinator, you will contribute structural engineering knowledge and analysis to integrated project teams during the design phase. You will work on a diverse mix of building and non-building structures, with a significant focus on data center projects, while collaborating across various business groups. The role involves performing structural analysis, drafting, and potentially participating in construction contract administration and site inspections.

Responsibilities

Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects
Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures
Create structural drawings in AutoCAD and Revit from engineering sketches and instructions
Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects
Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar software
Commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture
Ability to audit, validate, and verify AI-generated outputs against engineering fundamentals and regulations
