About the Role
Gibson Dunn is a leading global law firm seeking a Manager, Awards & Recognition to help lead the development and execution of award submissions for its global legal awards and recognition program. This role manages a portfolio of award submissions across various publications and award programs, partnering with lawyers and business professionals to develop persuasive submissions.
Responsibilities
- Manage relevant award programs end-to-end, including calendar, intake, and workflow.
- Partner across the firm to source nominees and materials.
- Draft and edit relevant submissions across global legal and business publications.
- Maintain rigorous trackers of active submissions, deadlines, and status.
- Contribute to a content library of award language, lawyer narratives, and proof points.
- Contribute to weekly award-program updates for firm leadership.
- Collaborate with the team awards specialist to share workload and maintain consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve program templates, trackers, and workflows.

- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
- Resourcefulness and sound judgment, with the ability to connect the dots and identify the right sources.
- Strong editorial judgment and sound decision-making on positioning, candidate selection, and storytelling.
