About the Role

Revere Copper Products is seeking a Production and Maintenance Training Specialist to join our team in Rome, NY. We are a leading copper manufacturer with a rich history, committed to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in supporting our employee training and development strategy to foster a high-performance workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and design, develop, facilitate, and deliver training programs.
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement of Revere’s Production Learning and development Process.
• Develop and maintain On-the-Job Training and engagement plans.
• Ensure employee skills, knowledge, and competencies align with organizational objectives.
• Partner with supervisors and leaders to support employee development, coaching, and performance improvement.
• Evaluate training outcomes and measure return on investment (ROI).
• Assist in other aspects of the Learning and Development Department.
• Manage Revere’s learning management system.
• Write documents that augment training processes.
• Support Leadership Development initiatives.
• Apply working knowledge of the quality management system.
• Present on topics during orientations.
• Participate in quarterly department strategic planning.
• Leverage local community resources.
• Develop relations with local colleges, high schools and BOCES.
• Secure training grants for new hires, apprentices and displaced workers.
• Apply community programs and resources that enhance Revere’s Machine Operator and Skilled Trade program.

Requirements

• Experience in building relationships to improve performance.
• Strong record of collaboration.
• Ability to describe experiences using effective communication.
• Direct experience creating work environments where others can succeed is preferred.
• Keen interest or working knowledge of Behavior science.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Document Control Systems is required.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Highly organized.
• Regularly exposed to work near mechanical parts.
• May be exposed to wet or humid conditions.
• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
• May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.
• May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.
