About the Role
Seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance worker to service a busy commercial building.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance tasks for a commercial building.
- Utilize mechanical aptitude to address maintenance needs.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Apply experience in electrical, carpentry, and plumbing trades.
- Use hand and power tools for maintenance and repair.
- Read and write English proficiently.
- Perform general construction tasks including sheetrock, taping, spackling, and painting.
- Conduct wall repairs, ballast replacement, and lighting fixture maintenance.
- Execute plumbing repairs, including sink, faucet, toilet, and urinal repair/replacement.
- Address lock setting and door hardware issues.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience in Electrical, Carpentry, and Plumbing trades.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- General knowledge of construction.
- Experience in sheetrock, taping, spackling, painting, and wall repairs.
- Experience with ballast replacement and lighting fixtures.
- Experience in plumbing repair and replacement of fixtures (sinks, faucets, toilets, urinals).
- Experience with lock setting and door hardware.
