About the Role

Coordinates general business office activities of an apartment community. Serves as the first point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer service. Plans and promotes social and recreational programs for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with residents and families regarding questions or concerns and takes steps to resolve issues or refers them to appropriate employees.
  • Prepares service requests and works closely with service contractors.
  • Maintains working knowledge of leasing policies and procedures and performs functions related to leasing and lease renewal.
  • Ensures effective and appropriate implementation in accordance with Corporate Office and Fair Housing policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of company policies, applicable laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Receives, logs, and distributes packages to residents, obtaining signatures for delivery.
  • Performs administrative functions including answering telephones, typing, preparing correspondence, scheduling appointments, screening mail, maintaining files, and scheduling meeting rooms.
  • Ensures deposits are paid and contracts are signed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED required.
  • 1 - 2 years of customer service and resident retention experience required.
