About the Role

Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region is seeking a part-time After School Counselor to ensure appropriate care, supervision, and guidance to children in the childcare program, fostering a safe, clean, and nurturing environment while acting as a positive role model.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate care, supervision, and guidance to the children in the childcare program.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
  • Act as a positive role model.
  • Establish positive relationships with participants and their families.

Requirements

  • Possess a School-Age Child Care Credential or other office-recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period.
  • One year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
  • Valid New York State driver's license.
  • Ability to transport children.
  • Ability to go up and down stairs.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Pass criminal background check and medical clearance.
  • Ability to participate in required training and staff development.
  • Must be reliable, consistent, and punctual.
