About the Role

The Women's Area Manager is a pivotal leader responsible for shaping the customer experience, developing store leaders, and driving the success of multiple retail locations. This role translates brand vision into store-level execution by partnering with Store Managers to elevate performance, strengthen teams, and create a consistent World Class Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers across an assigned portfolio of multiple locations, building high-performing teams and a culture of accountability, growth, and ownership.
  • Maintain a strong presence in stores through regular visits, serving as a key connection point between field teams and HQ while identifying opportunities to improve the business.
  • Own key performance indicators including sales growth, conversion, customer retention, productivity, and labor performance. Use insights and data to create action plans that drive results.
  • Ensure every store delivers a World Class Experience through exceptional hospitality, product knowledge, clienteling, and brand storytelling.
  • Partner with Store Managers on recruiting, onboarding, retention, and talent development to build teams that represent the best of Buck Mason.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards, operational procedures, inventory practices, and store expectations across all locations.
  • Maintain flexibility to support the needs of the business, including regular store visits, weekends, holidays, peak selling periods, and occasional travel as required to support teams and drive results.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of retail leadership experience, with multi-unit management experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen with experience analyzing sales performance, KPIs, labor, and operational results.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, create action plans, and drive meaningful results.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations, priorities, and competing demands.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and building lasting client relationships.
  • Experience with recruiting, talent development, and creating strong team cultures.
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-growing retail environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between store locations and support business needs, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.

Salary/Compensations

  • $160,000 - $185,000 a year
  • $100,000- $120,000 base salary + an annual bonus based off of a % of each of your store's net profit.
