About the Role

We are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist, licensed in California, for a part-time role. You will supervise Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) delivering telemedicine care to adult patients managing anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medication. This role offers significant flexibility, allowing you to set your own hours and shift times. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive in providing feedback, and eager to grow with our team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners treating clients for anxiety and depression per state regulations.
  • Conduct chart reviews for multiple Nurse Practitioners.
  • Be available to Nurse Practitioners to answer questions, provide clinical clarifications, and escalate issues to medical leadership.

Requirements

  • Active and good standing medical license in California.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Medical Doctorate from an accredited medical school.
  • Previous experience supervising Nurse Practitioners in clinical settings.
  • 5+ years of direct care experience, exclusive of orientation/training.
  • Comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software.
  • Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Skills

  • Telemedicine experience is a plus.
