About the Role

We are seeking a full-stack Product Engineer excited to build agentic, LLM-powered features. You will be the Directly Responsible Individual for projects, working with a lean, experienced, remote-first team that values craft and open communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement customer-facing, LLM-based application layers
• Design APIs for human and agent consumption
• Evaluate and iterate on models, prompts, and eval pipelines to balance quality, latency, and cost
• Take turns as the on-call engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building SaaS web applications
• Hands-on experience incorporating agents and LLMs into production over the last 2+ years
• Professional experience building with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, Postgres (or similar RDBMS), and AWS (or similar cloud platform)
• Experience building evals, observability, or safety guardrails for LLM systems
• Experience using agentic coding tools daily and structuring work for agents
• Rigorous verification of agent output
• Dig into user problems, cut through ambiguity, and define clear outcomes before implementation
• Ability to ship and adjust course rather than waiting for a perfect plan
• Keep pace with rapidly changing tools
• Production experience with Zero or a comparable state-synchronization framework
• Enjoy writing or speaking publicly about what you learn
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a background check
