About the Role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, providing care in an empathetic and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities
- Float to various facilities during and after training.
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
- Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment.
- Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- IV certification required if required by state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required.
- Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required.

Experience Level

- Experienced: $33.75 - $44.00 per hour.

Salary/Compensations
- $30.00 - $44.00 per hour
- New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year
- New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
