About the Role
Stantec’s Albany, NY office has an immediate need for talented, team focused Civil Designers to work on roadway and/or bridge and culvert projects under the guidance of an Engineer. You will utilize your knowledge and experience to contribute to a variety of projects from conceptual design through construction.
Responsibilities
- Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and NYSDOT specifications and CADD Standards using Bentley Open Roads, Open Bridge, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Develop design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Prepare engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos, feasibility studies, Concept Design Reports, Design Exception Reports, and Preliminary Engineering Reports.
- Perform field work and support construction phase services.
- Work alongside experienced practitioners to expand your knowledge.
