About the Role
We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to independently run our pediatric vaccine clinics. In this role, you will be the lead clinical presence managing and administering scheduled immunizations at our office locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous nurse who loves working with children and wants a focused, rewarding clinical routine.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage the daily flow of scheduled vaccine clinics.
- Safely prepare and administer immunizations to pediatric patients of all ages.
- Provide exceptional patient and parent care and service.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and vaccine inventory logs.
Requirements
- Active New York State (NYS) RN license required.
- Excellent pediatric clinical skills with a gentle touch and a knack for putting children (and anxious parents!) at ease.
- Ability to work independently with high clinical autonomy, while communicating effectively with the broader care team.
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with evidence-based pediatric protocols and an interest in our low-intervention philosophy.
