About the Role

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations. This role involves communication with all company departments, regional travel for station coverage and training, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The position also requires on-call availability, assisting with property and environmental issues, maintaining inventory, and performing aircraft deicing and snow removal as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment.
  • Communicate with all departments within the company.
  • Travel for station coverage, training, and other maintenance support.
  • Work outside in all types of weather.
  • Be on-call as needed.
  • Assist Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues.
  • Maintain station manuals, parts, and tooling inventory.
  • Perform aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, and MXI work as needed.
  • Travel regionally to verify stations will pass FAA and QA audits.
  • Travel regionally to train new team members on paperwork, MXI, and manuals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma/GED.
  • Possess a Valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass an MVR background check.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems.
  • Possess aircraft systems and technical knowledge, concentrating on aircraft type at the station applying for.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to travel on company aircraft as required.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces.
  • Ability to obtain SIDA Badge.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to perform work at heights up to 60 ft.
