About the Role
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through new account acquisition, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. The Sales Representative enhances brand visibility by engaging directly with store-level decision-makers, influencing purchasing behavior, and executing in-store merchandising and promotional strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with on- and off-premise accounts.
- Conduct regular visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and proper product placement.
- Execute brand programs, promotions, and schematics in line with company initiatives.
- Present and place new items, rotate stock, and ensure proper tagging and POS material usage.
- Negotiate for additional shelf space and store-level promotions.
- Collect and process store replenishment orders.
- Audit accounts and address issues promptly.
- Support special projects for regional chains and distributor partners.
- Travel daily within assigned territory.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Drive incremental sales by introducing new products.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend timely reorders to avoid out-of-stocks.
- Ensure product displays meet company and retail visual standards.
- Implement and maintain displays, tastings, and other marketing programs.
- Educate retail staff on product knowledge to support in-store sales.
- Complete accurate reports, paperwork, and POS documentation.
- Track sales activities, market trends, and competitor behavior.
- Provide actionable feedback to management on customer needs and opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Collaborate with peers and the Area Manager to strategize on issues that disrupt goal achievement.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, department leaders and executive leadership.
- Be approachable at all times.

Requirements
- Knowledge of the industry preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving sales goals and executing market programs that support corporate initiatives.
- Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- This position requires attendance at local meetings, local travel and occasional out-of-town travel.
- 21 years or older.
- Hold a valid and current California driver’s license within MVR policy guidelines throughout employment.
- Ensure reliable, insured transportation, in accordance with company policy.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment.
