About the Role
Work as a member of the child care team in providing a high quality long day care service for up to 39 children, 0-5 years of age, with a particular emphasis on educational programs, good communication skills and working in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Take shared responsibility for individuals and groups of children to ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
- Liaise with parents and team to ensure the Centre’s developmental records, children’s observations and work samples, and programs are presented professionally.
- Maintain an open, supportive team environment to facilitate the implementation of a challenging program for all children and assure parents of high quality service.
- Work with the child care team to ensure the Centre operates within Council and Centre policies and procedures.
- Liaise with team to ensure children’s services Regulations are met at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and children.
Requirements
- A NSW Working with Children Clearance, as per the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012, obtained via the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Check with no relevant adverse findings.
- Must answer screening questions during application.
