About the Role

The Senior Manager, Financial Institutions - Securitizations, Global Risk Management is responsible for the maintenance and sound asset growth of a portfolio comprised of securitizations in the US, Canada, and Mexico. This role adds value to the Bank's loan portfolios through timely and accurate adjudication of credits within established underwriting guidelines and policies, dealing with senior management and banking counterparts globally.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise and maintain strong working relationships with Global Securitizations personnel and Corporate Banking execution teams involved in securitizations structuring.
  • Review external rating agency criteria and assess program structure and performance of credit applications.
  • Ensure proposed credit exposures comply with established guidelines and limits, providing rationale for exceptions.
  • Provide recommendations to senior executives and participate in Senior Credit Committee discussions.
  • Prepare authorizations to communicate transaction terms and conditions.
  • Review documentation governing credit facilities, such as ISDA trading documentation.
  • Conduct industry analysis and lending guideline policy reviews for senior management, including preparing board-level reports.
  • Develop expertise in securitizations structuring across various asset classes.
  • Maintain knowledge of program sponsors and industries through continuous monitoring of financial and industry information.
  • Provide accurate data in a timely manner for regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Work on projects and special reviews as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Experience in Securitizations structuring from a Credit Risk, Corporate Banking, or Ratings Agency background is essential.
  • MBA, CMA, CFA, or CA Designation is preferred, but equivalent industry/credit analysis experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of credit risk policies, products, and processes is preferred.
  • Understanding of derivative products, deal structuring, due diligence & documentation, and legal & accounting principles.
  • Ability to make decisions and appropriate recommendations to senior management and effectively support them.
