About the Role

We are looking for a full-time local driver for our Austin location. This is a company employee position where the driver will be driving a company vehicle for all local work.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and deliver freight on-time within the local area.
• Safely operate a company vehicle in the transportation of FAK over the road, while verifying loads for accuracy.
• Work with assigned routes and adapt to dispatch changes.
• Maintain effective communication with the dispatch team regarding deliveries and any unforeseen issues.
• Perform thorough and accurate pre and post-trip inspections on vehicles and report any issues.
• Safely and efficiently operate lift equipment for loading and unloading duties.
• Complete and verify all required backup paperwork.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws, including FMCSA HOS regulations.

Requirements

• Must have a Class B license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Must be 23 years of age.
• CSA score must be less than 28 to meet Energy safety records.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
