About the Role

The Montessori Stiftung Berlin is seeking a dedicated and value-oriented Kita-Leitung (m/f/d) for their Montessori-Kinderhaus at the Montessori Campus am Tegeler Forst, serving children from their first birthday up to school entry. The role involves implementing the Montessori pedagogy, fostering individual learning, independence, and mindfulness.

Responsibilities

  • Overall pedagogical, personnel, and organizational responsibility for the facility
  • Leadership and development of the pedagogical team
  • Creation of an inspiring and mindful learning environment for children and the team
  • Ensuring and further developing Montessori pedagogy in daily practice
  • Communication with sponsors, parents, authorities, and cooperation partners
  • Quality development and implementation of legal requirements

Requirements

  • Completed training as a state-recognized educator, childhood educator, social pedagogue, or equivalent
  • Leadership experience or interest in career advancement
  • Identification with the values of Montessori pedagogy
  • Willingness for further training (Montessori training is advantageous but not required; costs will be covered by the Montessori Stiftung Berlin)
  • Empathetic, team-oriented, and reflective leadership personality
  • Organizational skills, strong communication, and sense of responsibility
