About the Role
The Account Management role focuses on managing commercial relationships with existing large accounts, contributing to regional sales results. Key metrics include annuity revenue retention and sales to managed accounts. Fluency in both French and English is essential.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture established relationships for assigned accounts via on-site meetings, regular phone and email touch points, and industry/company events.
- Confidently discuss IDeaS products, services, and consulting, actively listening to client needs.
- Identify mutual business opportunities to develop and implement growth strategies, driving revenue across all IDeaS offerings.
- Leverage IDeaS go-to-market strategies and resources to execute local tactics and win opportunities.
- Provide proactive client service and engage additional company resources to meet client expectations.
- Utilize tools like Salesforce.com and LinkedIn Premium to track activities, contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities.
- Provide monthly reports and updates to sales leadership on strategies, tactics, and successes.
- Professionally represent IDeaS in the marketplace.
- Act as an ambassador for assigned accounts, communicating client needs to IDeaS Leadership.
- Engage clients to act as reference clients and participate in case studies.
- Manage expectations to ensure products and services align with client needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new IDeaS products/services, and the competitive landscape.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue management, account management, or business development/sales, specifically in consultative sales with enterprise software.
- 5+ years of professional experience in hospitality.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to communicate across diverse cultures and corporate levels.
- Ability to understand the hospitality industry, hotel infrastructure, hotel technology, and interfaces with IDeaS.
- Experienced and confident communicating with Executive Management (C-Level) teams.
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent listening skills to provide appropriate short and long-term IDeaS products and services aligned with client goals.
- Strong presenting and negotiating skills to communicate product value and negotiate profitable contracts.
- Desire to act as the face of IDeaS and orchestrate relationships between IDeaS Teams and clients.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate complex business problems into workable solutions.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
