About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level+ Data Engineer to focus on quality assurance, quality checking, and ETL processes. You will ensure the integrity and accuracy of data transferred from shared file services to S3 and Snowflake, supporting critical downstream applications and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data quality to ensure accuracy throughout the ETL process.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows for data transfer to S3 and Snowflake.
• Ensure seamless data integration for downstream applications and reporting tools.
• Address data quality challenges and resolve inconsistencies in source data.
• Collaborate with business owners, analysts, and BI teams to deliver data solutions.
• Monitor pipelines, identify issues, and implement solutions to preserve data integrity.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in data engineering with an emphasis on quality assurance and ETL.
• 5 years of experience with Python, PyPI, and SQL.
• 5 years of experience with cybersecurity principles related to code development, DevOps, and data access.
• 5 years of experience with fundamental public-cloud capabilities.
• 5 years of experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Proven ability to define success and operate in an agile setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
