About the Role
Fogo de Chão is seeking a Sales Manager/Private Event Manager to grow sales through active prospecting and managing group events. This role involves full-cycle sales management, client relationship building, and contributing to the restaurant's overall traffic and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales through active prospecting of targeted businesses, organizations, and associations for groups of 15 or more.
- Enter all prospects, contacts, accounts, and booking information in the CRM (Tripleseat).
- Enter basic reservation information in Open Table for booked parties greater than 15.
- Maintain weekly updates on current leads through Tripleseat and convert them to bookings.
- Act as the primary contact for all group clients, ensuring event details are completed and client satisfaction.
- Manage the booking process, obtaining client signatures on contracts and event order forms.
- Update documents and Operations with changes.
- Develop quarterly sales plans and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including following proper accounting procedures.
- Understand and forecast business needs three months in advance.
- Attend all company-related trainings, including weekly, quarterly, and annual meetings.
- Strategize with the General Manager and restaurant to source, plan, and execute local store marketing activities.
- Create profitable bookings using yield management tools.
- Drive overall traffic to the restaurant.
- Attend networking and public events as a brand ambassador to foster relationships and drive sales.
- Maintain company values of integrity, professionalism, and service by communicating professionally, being punctual, and returning calls promptly.
- Effectively schedule and be present for all guest site tours.
- Communicate with the restaurant management team.
- Be available to host in-store Fogo marketing events.
- Work Live Chat 3-4 times a month.
- Be on-site at the home restaurant a minimum of 5 days a week.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by GM, AD, and DOS.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ Years of Sales or relevant experience.
- Experience in the Restaurant / Attraction industry preferred.
- Up to 10% travel required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and various office applications.
- Must be able to keep up with paperwork, accounting procedures, multi-tasking, and maintain a high level of organization.
- Ability to work the necessary hours to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.

Salary/Compensations
- $54,080.00 - $74,880.00
