About the Role
BSNB is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to support marketing initiatives to drive BSNB's short and long-term strategic growth goals across product lines.
Responsibilities
- Accurate cash balancing
- Processing daily unposted items
- Investment accounting
- Quarterly financial reporting
- Various bank accounting systems
- Maintain correspondent bank balances
- Reconciliations
- Serve as a back-up for accounts payable
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- One to three years prior accounting experience required
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Experience with financial reconciliations required
- Demonstrated aptitude for working with numbers/figures with accuracy and strong attention to detail required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a group or independently
