About the Role

The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving and unloading carriers, delivering packages, pulling orders, and putting material away as needed. This role requires a great eye for detail, basic math skills, and knowledge of ERP systems for entering and receiving purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to safely unload carriers.
  • Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies, notifying Purchasing and Quality departments of any issues.
  • Perform various functions of a highly repetitive nature while maintaining concentration.
  • Process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures.
  • Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorized signatures for accepted items.
  • Pick and pack sales orders, work orders, and kits for the production floor daily.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts to safely unload carriers.
  • Capable of inspecting deliveries for damages, and discrepancies and notifies Purchasing and Quality departments of any issues.
  • Experience in inventory management, storekeeping, and stockroom operations for handling mechanical and electrical components.
  • Must be able to perform various functions of a highly repetitive nature while maintaining concentration of task.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for the receipt of purchased goods.
  • Process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures.
  • Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
  • Pick and pack sales orders, work orders and kits for production floor daily.
  • The ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous warehouse or stockroom experience
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations
  • Good communication skills for interfacing with carriers, internal customers & management
  • Must be able to lift or pull objects up to 50+ lbs. with or without accommodation
  • Energetic with team oriented attitude
  • Must work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks
